Any and all donations collected will be used for the following...

  • Papa's Funeral Expenses & Proceedings ($15,000 respectively & transparently)

  • Medical Masks (preferably Black) & Medical Gloves (preferably Blue or White) [COVID PRECAUTIONS]

  • Dining (To ensure all respective members of immediate family, extended family, close friends, performers, AND acquaintances — or even kind souls who encountered and were blessed by Papa's presence most recently — may be able to celebrate his life and nourish themselves in his presence hopefully for FREE, comfortably.)

  • Lodging (To ensure all respective members of immediate family, extended family, close friends, performers, AND acquaintances — or even kind souls who encountered Papa and were blessed by his presence most recently — can book living space hopefully for FREE if arriving from out of town [similar to his brother and sister who are traveling out from California & Arkansas respectively].)

  • Transportation (To ensure all respective members of immediate family, extended family, close friends, performers, AND acquaintances — or even kind souls who encountered Papa and were blessed by his presence most recently — can travel to any and all memorials, wakes, initial viewings, the funeral, burial & even our homes/estates here in New York & South Carolina hopefully FREE, with no worries of how to reach out and love or support Papa the way THEY may wish.)

None of these are mandatory and neither is your donation.
We just know that our loving "Silver Tack" (nicknamed for his intellectual brilliance) would have wanted everyone to be able to show their love and appreciation emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically however THEY felt most comfortable. Simply because he always provided room for others to help or support him if they so desired (even when he found it hard to ask for them to do so).

Thus, we thank you in advance for your kindness and support — and if you cannot donate, we thank you for your consideration and prayers just as well. We love you and HE loved you — nothing in the world will ever be able to circumvent that.

Robert (or "Mr. Oliver," or "Tack," as some of you may have known him or even further "Papa," to those even closer to him, was one of the kindest, most accomodating, loyal, and serving souls to touch this Earth. If you got the chance to know him, much doesn't need to be said but a kiss and hug. If you never happened to be graced by his love though — review the following comedy special. It is him to the T.

Robert Oliver Jr. (son of Robert Oliver, Sr. and Mary Stevens-Oliver — born in Little Rock, Arkansas) was a Korean conflict war veteran and a proud supporter of these United States of America. Tack served as a church Usher and president of the Usher Board at New Covenant Church of Christ in Queens Village, NY — devoting every Sunday of his life to such positions without fail. Robert was a prolific bowler and comedic entertainer (by hobby ), an engineer and tinkerer by extended genius, but evermore, a community activist and humanitarian. In the latter years of his life, he became a financial officer and treasurer for multiple organizations and businesses throughout Southeast Queens and multiple South Carolina communities he worked within and/or volunteered with — working overtime to free communities from financial debts and emotional traumatic weights alongside his loving wife, Martha E. Oliver. Together, Martha & Robert helped shaped the community of St. Albans for their child, grandson, and countless other citizens — hoping to create new amounts of generational wealth and wisdom every day post-purchasing their first home within the St. Albans community in July of 1961.
